CARL BACHTEL is an avid fisherman with more than 30 years experience on the water. He is on the Pro Staff of Bass Pro Shops and Microspoons, a Georgia-based jig and spoon maker. Carl is also a television news photographer/editor with WKYC, the NBC affiliate in Cleveland, Ohio.
Carl fishes crappie tournaments with his 12 year old son Nick, who is also a member of the Microspoons Pro Staff. His seminars cover a wide array of tips, tricks, and tactics that will help you catch more slab crappies. Carl's CRAPPIE FISHING 201 seminars cover more than the basics and get into detailed information about crappie fishing in Northeast Ohio. Carl Bachtel is also known as "Big Daddy". He lives in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio with his wife Kathy and his kids Sarah, Nick, and Sam.
